Aberdeen's History

Back in 1995, over 170 acres of land in Highland Heights were surveyed by Miner Properties to develop a complete and attractive community.  This would include not only single family homes, condos, and clusters, but also an 18 hole championship golf course,  and community center complex with many amenities.  This was to be a community appealing to all -- young couples, families and seniors and one that welcomed pets.

Because of the location of Aberdeen and the reputation of the builders involved, people from all walks of life including professionals and  business owners were interested in the community.  At that time, Highland Heights was considered one of the fastest growing suburbs in Greater Cleveland.

Taking into account that Aberdeen was close to schools, shopping and provided easy access to freeways  for both downtown commuters or those heading east, it was a win-win location.

The Aberdeen “neighborhoods” are still expanding after its start 17 years ago.  Different builders recently joined our community and are constructing additional family homes.

Through the years, Aberdeen has maintained its beauty and has witnessed continued growth.
