The Highlands of Aberdeen represents an area of beautifully designed single family homes with the vast majority of these homes overlooking the Stonewater Golf course.  The Highlands consists of four streets  namely East and West Edinburgh, Perth and Glasgow, and is located on the Northeast side of Aberdeen Blvd.  All properties are in walking distance to the Pool and Community Center.

What makes this area so desirable is the various designs of the properties as well as the unique landscaping.  There are approximately 52 homes in The Highlands with lot sizes between 1/3 and 1/2 acre.  The square footage of the homes are approximately 3,900 square feet.  There are still several lots available for development.

Homeowners Responsibilities:

Homeowners are responsible for their own lawn maintenance and snow removal.  The exterior of the home must be maintained at all times.

Rubbish is picked up weekly along with recycling bags.  All trash must be placed on the end of the driveway no earlier than 7:00 p.m. the night before along with the recycling items being stored in blue bags.

Neighborhood Homeowners Association:

Meetings are scheduled annually for homeowners to elect officers, establish budgets for the coming year, discuss and vote on improvements for the common areas, etc.  However, the Board officers do meet quarterly to discuss projects, etc.  One Board member attends and is part of the Master Homeowners Association.
